the other trans-atlantic

The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art made the first major show in Russia dedicated to kinetic and op art from eastern Europe and Latin America, produced in partnership with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
The project gathers more than one hundred artworks from the postwar period to the end of the 1970s, including kinetic sculptures, paintings, drawings, films, and installations, as well as unique archival materials.
some photos from the exhibition
We made a promotional video that immersed the viewer in the exhibition’s atmosphere and introduced them to the kinetic objects and op-art paintings by emphasizing their unique features. Using archival footage, the pieces were fully recreated in 3D, with an accompanying music score composed specifically for the promo.
